Fine Arts Masters And Women Fighting

I was surprised to find that most of the scenes of female fighting that are popular today were also fashionable centuries ago. More, they were conceived and materialized by the household names of fine arts. I have organized a movie with a slide sequence below, with a dozen copies of paintings and sculptures by artists like Rodin, Schiele, Renoir, Maillol and Pissarro, almost all of them depicting nude scenes. I guess they did that for personal interest and client commissions. Human nature has not changed at all along the time.

Artists are not identified in the movie above; you can practice your art knowledge by pointing out who are the authors. Or else, go to Forum Russia, where these images came from, and look at their art section.

Monday New links

As usual on Mondays, I have posted some assorted new links that may be of interest to the blog readers. I have listed again non-english (or not having english as primary language) sites just to show the worldwide attraction for the female fighting subject. Particularly, the russian forum - Female Single Combat - has lots of messages and other informations - and it is partially bilingual.

My Back Is Not A Seat

The title is what the wrestler seems to scream to her foe while gets tortured on a helpless boston crab. That is a submission hold of women pro-wrestling, very common in the past, but now replaced by spectacular jumps and throws on TV shows as I commented before. I love boston crabs, though, and some of the wrestling promoters and fighters - as the one below from England whom I was not able to identify - keep giving us these lively moments.

New Kids on the Block

The Theater Two: Old Times has new clips including a full pro-fight from the 40´s (50´s?) in four parts: The Preliminary. It is a long combat between two beauties of that time. Sometimes I prefer to watch these down-to-earth ladies than the steroid-based wrestling stars of today. They also had this wrestling style of holds and counter holds instead of jumping from a 10-foot platform as they do now. Anyway, with the Internet we can enjoy both the retro and modern styles at the same time.

The Theater Four: Woman Fighting in Digital Games has 3 or 4 new clips including a very improved Rumble Roses demo and, in other extreme of gamut, a simple cartoon catfight game offered over the Web.

Theater Four Opened

I organized and posted a new theater for the animation fighting theme, the moving cartoons art mainly from Japan. There are catfights, pro-wrestling and some eroticism. As usual, women have large eyes, are gorgeous and young. I have never seen anime women fighting but from Japan.

I intend to add more thematic theaters once in a week. I will rotate them keeping the total in the Blog to four. Enjoy!

You Are Condemned !!!

I know and you know too that female fighting grabs audience interested in entertainment and sexy images. (By the way, just in the case you have not noticed so far, this Blog is erotic oriented; so, if you feel either offended or uncomfortable with nudity and eroticism, please do not go further.)

Back to the subject, along the time image makers have created special ways to display female fights in appealing scenarios. For that reason - and other ones readers can add - in the 70´s and 80´s prison movies were fashionable. Dozens have been produced in the period, the majority in US but also in Europe, Asia and South America.

Low cost in general, the movie plots were very similar: an innocent girl is condemned and sent to jail where she will be victim of cruel mates and wardens. And the script in 99% of the cases included some sort of fight. My preferences, of course, were for grapplings in the shower, as the one clip shown below from Caged Hearts 2 (note that it is a sequel !).

For one reason or another, this specialty disappeared altogether from the screens.

Amateur Skill And ... Legs

I know that female amateur wrestling does not grab the same attention that wrestlers using thongs do. But I believe they deserve more eyes on them as the thumbs and the clip below show to us.

And I think I know the reason for this dislike: bad clothing. The today singlets have been designed to make women look like man and watchers do not like that.
In the images below you are going to see what women designed singlets can add to a combat. Unfortunately, those were used many years ago and in Europe only. Let´s enjoy what fans have recovered from the archives. Vote to them in this Blog Poll (see on the right of the page)!

Black, White & YouTube

Everybody knows that posting certain videos on YouTube can be hazardous. Not just because the content but the comments the video attracts. The images below are from a clip between wrestlers of different races which generated so many nasty observations that in few time YouTube kicked it out.

Same Scene from Two (Very) Different Angles

The movie was "The Amazons" (1973) (a.k.a "The War Goddess", "Las Amazonas", "Le Guerriere dal Seno Nudo"), directed by Terence Young who loved to show sexy catfighting scenes in his work. However, nudity and sex could restrict the audience in certain markets and even to prevent movie exhibition in that period of time. The first clip below depicts the solution found by the director for one of the many female combats on the movie to appease the more prudish public.

The fight is good and one can see a glimpse of attraction between the amazons. However, the clothing does not reveal too much for today´s standards. And the lighting... well, there is no lighting at all. Much was left to the imagination of the audience.

The second version (in reality, a complete new scene shot with the same actresses) below is much better. Right in the beginning, the amazons take off their clothes and start fighting. The combat script is basically the same. However, the main difference is that now one can see the splendid naked amazon bodies glittering with the oil.

Theater Three Recreated

As promised, I have updated Theater Three and from now on it will display clips of another variation of women wrestling material: electronic games ! One of these games is Rumble Roses and I discover it only a few weeks ago. It is interesting and ... sexy, as you can see in the clips available on the Theater Three. As far as I know, this game is available for XBox and PlayStation but not for PCs. There are other games on the market but, as far as I know, Rumble is the only one that caters for the erotic side of women wrestling.

Yet Another Ceiling Hold

The clip below shows one of the best ceiling holds I have ever seen. Two strong and gorgeous girls in the scene. The victim is Jill who frequently appears at Woman´s World Wrestling videos.

You may notice these new links are all from Japan. Despite many of these sites being in japanese only - what makes a little cumbersome to navigate if you don´t master the language like me - they have interesting material not available elsewhere. Besides that, we are intrepid fans who like to discover and learn new things, aren´t we?

Old and Bold

The clip below is from a fight taped in the 60´s (yes?no?) very likely in Super-8 film. It starts as standard pro-wrestling in bikinis including old-fashioned masks and well known moves and holds.

But in the second part of the fight they keep only the masks and continue wrestling as before. What are the masks for here? Modesty?

If I am not mistaken, this is a Mildred Burke production.

New Theater Available

As mentioned the other day, I keep updating the Theaters section with thematic female combat. The Theater 2 (see page bottom) will display clips of vintage female combat. That could be the 40´s but also the 70´s; after all, I guess this blog attracts youngsters too.

Theater One Refurbished

I have started a refurbishing of my clips theaters with Theater One (see at the page bottom). From now on, they will be thematic and Theater One will display the most interesting clips of women pro-wrestling in a ring with a sex tone: skimpy clothing, holds that reveal bodies and so on. Other theater changes will follow.
